With years of service to nonprofit and community organizations, policymakers, and agencies, I have dedicated my career to making a difference. As a survivor of violence and passionate progressive advocate, I have become a knowledgeable leader with demonstrated success in promoting positive social change. My experience at the federal level and working with other states has given me strong insights into how to strengthen and improve public systems in Maryland with proven best practices, and by tapping into existing programs and funding streams – leadership beyond legislation.
I am committed to a “low-carb” (low carbon footprint) campaign because I care deeply about the environment. I’ll print as little as possible and use technology as much as possible to minimize my carbon footprint.
I look forward to serving our neighborhoods and communities by representing District 18 in the Maryland House of Delegates.
