“Leadership Beyond Legislation”
With years of service to nonprofit and community organizations, policymakers, and agencies, I have dedicated my career to making a difference. As a survivor of violence and passionate progressive Democrat, I am a knowledgeable leader with demonstrated success in promoting positive social change. My experience at the federal level and working with other states has given me strong insights into how to strengthen and improve public systems in Maryland with proven best practices, and by tapping into existing programs and funding streams – leadership beyond legislation.
As my campaign ramped up, I felt the need to create and name the first low carb campaign (low carbon footprint) because I care deeply about the environment. I’m doing everything I can to minimize my campaign’s carbon footprint by modernizing outreach and thinking about the environmental impact every step of the way. In this way, I hope that less is more!
I look forward to serving our neighborhoods and communities by representing District 18 in the Maryland House of Delegates.
